&lt;p&gt;The day began as usual: checking email, calling the United States, and taking care of business. I baked some muffins and scones. To get out of the house, I decided to visit one of the markets on Oxford Street in the city. I love markets. At about 2:00, I left the house and headed down Parramatta Road.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;An hour later, I had parked on a side street and was walking towards the market. It had more variety than the markets I knew in Taiwan, which often sold many of the same things, and I enjoyed looking around. One food vendor wanted to sell a few remaining kebab sandwiches and lowered the price from $8.50 to $5, so I picked up two.&lt;/p&gt;</description></item><item><title>Back to Peggy's</title><link>https://www.kelvinism.com/2007/02/back-to-peggy_1252.html</link><pubDate>Fri, 23 Feb 2007 10:30:00 +0000</pubDate><guid>https://www.kelvinism.com/2007/02/back-to-peggy_1252.html</guid><description>&lt;p&gt;In the morning, I packed and headed back to Peggy&amp;rsquo;s.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I snacked throughout the day while Peggy baked banana bread. That night, my companion, Peggy&amp;rsquo;s family, and I went to a steak restaurant and enjoyed a generous meal. I was slightly too full by the end, but that is part of a big dinner.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Later, I visited a night market held in a large parking lot and sampled a little more food. Once I became tired, I walked back to the car, returned to Peggy&amp;rsquo;s house, and quickly fell asleep. The next day, I would say goodbye and head back to Taipei with plenty of memories.&lt;/p&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
