I love curry; there is no denying it. I prefer a hot, spicy Indian curry to the milder varieties often found in Thailand and Japan, although Thai curry can certainly be fiery.

For Valentine’s Day, we went to a pleasant little curry restaurant, had a beer each, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Because our Valentine’s Day plans usually centred on her preferences, this one felt especially well balanced.
