Taiwanese Opera

The Opera

This weekend Yan-Shih and I went to CKC Memorial Hall and saw my first Taiwanese Opera. I was expecting to see big ladies singing at the top of their voices, but instead there was much dancing, "sword" play, and great costumes. Although I went mainly to appease Yan-Shih, I actually enjoyed myself. If you are in Taiwan, and have a chance to see an opera, don't miss it!
