School, Work, Life

As I wait for my “grep -R tpe1 *” to finish, I’ll write a quick update.

School:
I’m currently studying at the Chinese Culture University. Two weeks have finished, and I’m starting to feel more confident about living in Taipei. Today I went to a dance performance with Yan-Shih and 10 of her friends — I ALMOST understood what they were saying. I could hear that they had/didn’t have and “doesn’t matter doesn’t matter” — but didn’t know what they had or didn’t have. Exciting! I meet with Christian and Chino (from Germany and Japan) at 11:00am every day to practice for two hours. We then have class for two hours, and then I wander home. I’ll usually try to practice before I fall asleep.

Work:
Ahh, the luck that I have. As some of you know, I’ve been working at a company doing random I.T. stuff for quite a long time. I have had the privilege of working from New Zealand and now from Taiwan. Yay! I have some of the coolest co-workers ever, and more responsibility than I could ever hope for at this stage in my life. Tis a great opportunity.

Life:
Generally good. I’m online pretty much all the time. Like 12 hours a day. So for any of you that say “I never see you online” — well, stop lying. AIM: Kelack, MSN: zephell@hotmail.com, Yahoo: k_zephell, Skype: yj_kelvin, IRC: irc.undernet.org, #nz2600/#nzlinux/#nzadsl. Yea, you don’t got an excuse now.

And that is a short update for now. I’m hosting my pictures through a place called Net Firms (same as this site) using their photo gallery. Unfortunately it seems to keep being broken when I try to add new photos, so I guess I’m going to need to put some solution up there myself.

Alas, not enough time in a day.
