Continent, Here i Come

Published on July 15, 2003 in Spain

Momentarily we are going to land in Barcelona, on the big orange planes from Easyjet.  Overall a good flight, I'm really quite hungry thought.  One of the places in London wouldn't accept Visa credit cards.  So, they aren't accepted everywhere after all!

While Ashley was asleep on the couch next to me I woke up from my sobering rest, almost dizzy like intoxicated (from so little sleep over the last five days) and saw to y pleasure two very attractive females.  Starting up small talk, we chatted for a while.  Nikki and Alysia/Maggie.  Alysia/Maggie is one person -- I don't quite know how she has two names, but I joked about it and made them laugh.  Amusingly I took a sip out of my camel back and their eyes both widened: what the bloody hell is that? they said.  I showed them and they found it quite funny -- "good for alcohol I bed."  No expecting anything I gave one of them my email address and the dates I was going to be in London, and said: "if you are ever really, really bored and want to be a tour guide, please give me an email."  Ashley and I both agreed that there was a 95% chance that my email address was crumpled in a trash can by the time we boarded our plane.  They were going to Greece for two weeks.

I'm quite relieved to be finally getting to a place with a bed.  I'm very very tired, and really look forward to getting over 2 hours of sleep.  We are supposed to go out clubbing tonight, but well, it ain't gonna happen.  The whitecaps on the ocean are visible now, so I am going to start packing things up.  Keep ya' updated on the email-to-London-girls situation of course.
