I wish I had a cool nickname, yet I've only been given "Muffin Man"; at least it is unique. If you want to get an in-depth knowledge of who I am you should peruse my blog, where you'll find details of my daily life. If you have additional questions, don't hesitate shooing me an email
In summary, I have been living in Taiwan (Taipei) for the last year and a half, and was living in New Zealand for the six months prior to that. My father is from New Zealand and my mum from the States. Consequently, I'm nearly addicted to travelling; yet I still believe career developent is crucial.
A few months ago I left a pretty darn cool job to focus more on studying, and to fully immerse myself in Taiwan's culture. My title was rather ambiguous, however one could classify me as an "I.T. Project Manager" (and implementer). Basically, I played network admin, project manager, programmer, infrastructure architect and security dude for a Small Enterprise company (which will remain anonymous for obvious reasons).
The first six months in Taiwan were spent working and studying (Chinese), and then freelancing. My girlfriend luckily makes sure I explore Taiwan and don't just work/study/read all week... phew. Yes, one could consider me quite lucky.
My life is quite interesting right now, yet within the next six months I suspect it will shift into a dull patter, which is fine by me.
This page will help you get in contact with me - Kelvin Nicholson.
